Some
people ask us if we offer one night ceremonies.
There
is a reason we don’t offer one night ceremonies. We have found that for most
people one ceremony is not enough to get the real benefits of the medicines. If
a person comes to only one ceremony, he or she might walk away with a bad
impression because all he or she did was cleansed or just met their shadows on
the first ceremony. Much physical cleansing takes place, and also a
lot of mental and emotional cleansing happens too. People often meet ther
shadow areas of themselves during this time. Pain comes up for being healed.
It
takes at least three medicine ceremonies to get through the deep cleansing of
mind, body and spirit that has to take place before a person is really ready to
experience the joy that comes after healing.
By the
fourth and fifth ceremony a really deep transformation takes place. This is
when the wounds heal for good, or awakenings happen, or your true joy comes out
and a new perspective on life is seen. This is why it is so important not to
just dip your little toe in with Ayahuasca or San Pedro, as if they are a
tourist attraction to sample. The plant medicines won’t reveal themselves to
you in their full glory on your first journey. That’s just the way it works!
So come
back at a time when you want to really dive in and swim in the deep end of your
consciousness! This is a place to truly go within and discover the universe
inside you. There is a difference between just doing a one nighter with the
medicines or truly surrending to the process of the medicines over a
period of time. 7 days and 3 ceremonies is just enough to get the process
started, but the last two, 4 and 5, these seal the healing.
The
first ceremony a person does usually has more to do with cleansing, purging,
and eliminating toxicities from diet, emotions and thoughts. Very little if any
visions are involved in the first ceremony for some people, especially if the
pituitary gland is calcified and blocked.
We want
to work with people who desire to go deep within themselves and their worlds,
truly ready for a transformation and a life changing experience. We want to
work with those who hear the call of the spirit of the medicines to their soul.
Gaia
Sagrada cannot act as just a tourist overnight destination for the medicines.
In our exprience, a person who only passes through quickly and wants to just do
one or two ceremonies, it’s not a deep and transformative experience. These
medicines are not a tourist attraction! It’s deep spiritual work that takes
time. We are here to serve in that process.
